DESCRIPTION
In many developing communities (and some US cities), daily wage laborers convene at a central location to find jobs. Employers also come to these places to find laborers with the appropriate skills and in the required numbers. There is often a mismatch between the supply of and demand for laborers with the requisite skills on a particular day. Due to this mismatch, the parties involved loose time, money and opportunity. SPOTS is an e-commerce support system that brings together spot market employers and employees by utilizing an agent based matching and negotiation mechanism.
